Start the tour with a visit to the Irazu Volcano, the highest of the Central Volcanic Mountain Range; at 3432 meters above sea level is this beautiful volcano, the only point in the country where on a clear and sunny day you can see both oceans, the Pacific and the Atlantic. Enjoy the beautiful scenery that this beautiful place offers full of fresh air. At this volcano you will feel in the clouds, once our visit to the volcano is over we will continue our way.

Arriving in the city of Cartago, the former capital of Costa Rica, you will visit the impressive Basilica of Our Lady of Los Angeles built in honor of the Virgin of Los Angeles, patron saint of Costa Rican Catholics and a site of interest to all pilgrims who gather mainly every August first in a religious festival very dear to the Costa Ricans. Additionally, you can visit the fountain of Holy Water.

Arriving at Paraíso de Cartago, a small town, but with a great human quality, we will give you a delicious lunch to recharge your batteries and continue the journey. Be amazed by the green landscapes and the wonderful views of coffee plantations that you will find in the Orosi Valley, an area of great beauty with crystal clear rivers flowing down from the mountains.

We will visit one of the oldest churches in Costa Rica built-in 1767 by Franciscan friars, and declared historical-architectural heritage in 1920 and declared a National Monument in 1985, the famous Church of Orosi or also known as Colonial Church of Orosi, then we will return to San Jose after spending a great day.
