This day starts your adventure by visiting the Sloth Bear refuge and rescue center. Near San Jose, in a very hidden place, we will find a sloth sanctuary where we will fall in love with this magical place.

We will start the guided tour around this beautiful place, where we will meet the animals that are part of our wildlife refuges such as parrots, macaws, owls, mantillas, spider monkeys, porcupines, weasels, otters, birds of prey, the amazing sloths and much more.

This tour is filled with stories of​​ animal rescues. With this visit, we are looking to teach the local community, Costa Ricans, and tourists about the importance of conservation, give them important facts about the rainforest and its animals and tell them what it means to be a wildlife rescue center in Costa Rica.
