Day 1 Arrival San Jose International Airport
Once you clear customs and immigration and exit the terminal doors.
A Marbella representative will greet you with a name sign and will transfer you to the Quality Inn overnight or similar

Day 2 Pacuare River Class IV Rafting trip.  
A Rios Tropicales shuttle will provide transportation from the hotel to the Pacuare River for an exciting world-class rafting adventure. On completion, the Rios Tropicales Shuttle will drive you to the Guapiles area.

Day 3 Tortuguero National Park Adventure.
Mid morning Laguna Lodge representative will transfer you to the embarkation point, A guide will escort you on a short boat ride through Tortuguero National Park, on arrival at your leisure for optional activities.

Day 4 Tortuguero Canals
After breakfast, guided boat trip through the canals, local bilingual guide will provide exciting insight. Services:

Day 1 Arrives to Costa Rica.

A Marbella Travel & Tours representative will greet you at the airport and provide transportation to the Don Carlos Hotel, located downtown

San Jose.

Overnight at Don Carlos Hotel or similar.

Day 2 Tortuguero National Park.

Early morning one representative of Laguna Lodge will pick up at your hotel in San José and ride through the Braulio Carillo National Park, passing along pastureland and banana plantations, stopping for a typical Costa Rican breakfast, on the way to the small village of Caño Blanco; here you take the boat that lead you through the main channel of Tortuguero to the comfortable rustic lodge that is located on a small land strip situated between the channels and the Caribbean sea.

After lunch your naturalist guide takes you to the small village of Tortuguero for a short tour and visit of the turtle museum, you then walk back to the lodge along the beach. After dinner there is the possibility for an optional guided night hike along the beach to observe the nesting of the sea turtles. (Season March-April and July –October, approx. US $ 15 p.p.).

Day 3 Tortuguero National Park.
This day is full of activities; in the early morning go for a tour to admire the awakening of the wildlife of Tortuguero. Return for breakfast. Then you will go on another boat tour through the small channels of the national park, where you will observe the flora and fauna of this unique area. Return for lunch and free time for a “siesta”, relax at the pool or go for a walk on the beach. In the afternoon you can either participate in another boat tour or stay in the Lodge to explore the jungle trails around the Lodge. You also may visit the open butterfly garden or enjoy your time on the pool. Dinner at the Lodge.

Day 4 Arenal Volcano National Park.
After breakfast, you will embark the boat around 9 a.m. leaving for Caño Blanco. Continue by bus to a typical Costa Rican restaurant for a delicious home-cooked lunch. Right here, one representative of Marbella Trabel & Tours with private vehicle will be awaiting you in order to transfer you to Arenal Volcano National Park area.
In the evening at the hot springs of Tabacon (optional, entrance not included) you may enjoy a bath in the sulfurous water of a little river forming natural pools within a beautiful tropical setting, where - with some luck - you will be able to watch the fascinating volcano eruptions of red sparkling lava.

Day 5 Monteverde Cloudforest Area.
After breakfast you will explore Arenal Volcano National Park and hike with your private guide through secondary forest and over the lava fields at the foot of awesome Arenal.
After the hike and stop for a lunch (nor included) drive around Arenal Lake to Cañas and on the Interamericana south, until you turn left on an adventurous gravel road that will take you on a 35 km long ride to Sta. Elena in the Monteverde Cloud Forest Region.

Day 6 Monteverde Cloudforest
After early breakfast, explore with your private guide the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve. Right at the entrance, you will already meet many different kinds of hummingbirds that come very close to their feeding stations.
After lunch (not included), you will go for a "walk in the clouds". The „Walkways" of Selvatura, a complex of suspended bridges, platforms and trails, built within the cloud forest, allow a vision from a different perspective which starts with a walk on the ground through the forest and takes you up to explore the tops of the trees, a world which is very close but yet unknown to most of us - the canopy of the cloud forest. The bridge system is located along a 1.7-mile trail designed to walk by people of all ages and physical conditions so most of the way is level with occasional small slopes. It has 8 suspension bridges, which add, up a distance of 1200 feet of total bridge length, plus the trail goes 90% through primary cloud forest.

Day 2 Poás Volcano, Arenal Volcano, Tabacón Hot Springs

Early morning pick up at your hotel and begin your journey to the Poas Volcano National Park. The active crater with temperatures between 104° F and 158° F is located in the center of the park; the poisonous sulfur fumes do not allow any life near by but make Poás - because of the gas process - the world's second biggest geyser. We then pass by car Costa Rica's most impressing waterfall - Catarata La Paz - that comes down on the east slope of Poás Volcano over 3,900 ft. in different cascades. You will stop at an amazing hummingbird gallery before continuing your trip to La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano.

In the evening at the Tabacon Hotsprings, you will enjoy a bath in the sulfur water of a little river forming natural pools within a beautiful tropical setting, where - with some luck - you will be able to watch the fascinating volcano eruptions of red sparkling lava. After breakfast, drive on the Interamericana South and following the coastline continue towards the town of Jacó, stopping on the way at the bridge over Rio Tarcoles where we have the opportunity to observe large crocodiles. On the way you will visit the Carara National Park, one of the main nesting areas of the Scarlet Macaw. Short hike on the park trails. Drive further South to Manuel Antonio; arrival at your hotel in the afternoon.

Day 6 Manuel Antonio National Park & Beaches

A hike of about 1.5 hours will lead you through the rainforest and to the fantastic beaches within the park. Observe capuchin monkeys, sloth, iguanas, anteaters and various species of birds while exploring the hiking trails through the rainforest; then relax on the beach or take a refreshing bath in the Pacific Ocean.

Day 7 Transfer back to San Jose
